Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services (NL Health Services, NLHS) is the integrated health authority of Newfoundland and Labrador, tasked with the administration and delivery of health care services across the province. __TOC__ History The organization was established on April 3, 2023, from the merger of the province's previous 4 regional health authorities (Eastern Health, Central Health, Western Health, and Labrador-Grenfell Health), as well as the Newfoundland and Labrador Centre for Health Information (NLCHI). Bell Island (Newfoundland And Labrador)
Bell Island is an island that is part of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada's easternmost province. With an area of 34 km2, it is by far the largest island in Conception Bay, a large bay in the southeast of the island of Newfoundland. The provincial capital of St. John's is less than 20 km to the east. The coastline of Bell Island consists almost entirely of cliffs that tower up to 45 m above the surf and also has several special rock formations. The island is home to four settlements with a total of over 2000 inhabitants. Channel-Port aux Basques is a town at the extreme southwestern tip of Newfoundland fronting on the western end of the Cabot Strait. Bartlett's Harbour is a local service district and designated place in the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador that is northeast of Pointe Riche on the island of Newfoundland. Pouch Cove
Pouch Cove is a town in the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador. The population is 2,063 according to the Canada 2021 Census. It is located on the northeast Avalon Peninsula, 27 kilometres north of St. John's, the province's capital city. The origin of Pouch Cove dates back to 1611, when fisherman from British ships, together with carpenters and other artisans, established a settlement. The town was officially incorporated in 1970. Bay Bulls ( 2021 population: 1,566) is a small fishing town in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. Geography Located in a sheltered bay, it has been home to many fishermen and a strategic location in early times as it is located just a few miles from the capital, St. John's. Witless Bay
Witless Bay is a town on the Avalon Peninsula in the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador. Located on the Irish Loop, 35 km south of the provincial capital, St. John's, Witless Bay is a small, scenic, traditional Newfoundland outport community.
