The New Zealand national cricket team toured the West Indies from 30 June to 6 August. The tour consisted of five One Day International matches and two Test matches. It also featured two Twenty20 International matches that were hosted in Lauderhill, Florida in the United States. Daniel Luca Vettori (born 27 January 1979) is a New Zealand cricket coach and former cricketer who played for the New Zealand national cricket team. He was the 200th player to win their Test cricket cap for New Zealand. Vettori was the youngest male player to have represented New Zealand in Test cricket, making his debut in February 1997 at the age of 18. He captained New Zealand between 2007 and 2011 and is New Zealand's most-capped Test cricketer and One Day International cricketer, with 112 Test caps and 291 ODI caps. Cornelius Francoius Kruger van Wyk (born 7 February 1980) is a former New Zealand cricketer who plays for the Central Districts Stags. He is a wicketkeeper-batsman. He has played professionally in South Africa and New Zealand, and at club level in Scotland. Tarun Nethula
Tarun Sai Nethula (born 8 May 1983) is an Indian-born cricketer who has played for the New Zealand national cricket team. He started his cricket training at St. Johns Cricket Academy in Hyderabad, Telangana and moved to New Zealand at the age of 11. Brendon McCullum
