The New Zealand Commerce and Industry Office (Māori: ''Te Mata O Aorere''; ) represents New Zealand interests in Taiwan in the absence of formal diplomatic relations, functioning as a ''de facto'' embassy. The Walsin Lihwa Building, or Citibank Tower (), is a skyscraper office building located in Xinyi Special District, Xinyi District, Taipei, Taiwan. Construction of the building began in 2006 and it was completed in 2009. The height of the building is , the floor area is , and it comprises 27 floors above ground, as well as five basement levels. Norman Kirk
Norman Eric Kirk (6 January 1923 – 31 August 1974) was a New Zealand politician who served as the 29th prime minister of New Zealand from 1972 until his sudden death in 1974. Born into poverty in Southern Canterbury, Kirk left school at age 13 and joined the New Zealand Labour Party in 1943. He was mayor of Kaiapoi from 1953 until 1957, when he was elected to the New Zealand Parliament. He became the leader of his party in 1964.
