New Life church (french: Église Nouvelle vie) is an Evangelical Pentecostal multi-site megachurch based in Longueuil, Quebec, Canada, affiliated with Association chrétienne pour la Francophonie. The senior pastor is Claude Houde. History The church was founded in 1993 in Longueuil, Quebec, starting with 50 members and pastored by Claude Houde. In 1998, following a massive ice storm causing severe cold and power cuts for more than a month, the church housed 500 homeless people for three weeks. It is recognized by the mayor as a public utility. In 2001, it inaugurated its current building including a 2,400-seat auditorium, the largest in Canada's Francophonie. New Life Churches, New Zealand
New Life Churches, formerly known as New Life Churches International, is a Pentecostal Christian church movement in New Zealand. History Early influences date from the 1940s when a series of meetings conducted by overseas 'Bethel Temple' missionaries resulted in the planting of congregations in New Zealand and Australia. Some of its early leaders, including Morrow, attended a Bible college in Sydney in 1951. Further evangelistic campaigns and training occurred after 1957 and throughout the 1960s. In 1960, meetings began in Timaru that led to the establishment of Timaru New Life Centre. Also many evangelistic campaigns took place throughout New Zealand. The first missionaries were sent overseas in this period. Peter Morrow began work in Christchurch in 1962 as the pastor of the church there, which was then known as the Christchurch Revival Fellowship. New Life Church is a nondenominational charismatic evangelical megachurch located in Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States. New Life Church has more than 10,000 members. The church is pastored by Brady Boyd and has multiple congregations that meet throughout the Colorado Springs area. The church is known for its worship music, having produced and released over a dozen worship albums. Campus and facilities The church established its present campus location in the early 1990s and added buildings and added onto existing buildings in this location. The initial sanctuary on the campus, now referred to as the "theater," seats 2,000 and is used primarily for the New Life Friday Night congregation and New Life Kids on Sunday mornings. New Life Christian Fellowship
New Life Christian Fellowship (NLCF) is an evangelical Christian church in Blacksburg, Virginia that ministers to the Virginia Tech and New River Valley communities. An estimated 200 worshipers attend one of the church's three weekly gatherings, most of whom are college students attending services on the Virginia Tech campus. Beliefs and practices Regarding the Apostles' Creed and the Nicene Creed, members of NLCF "stand together with Christians everywhere across the centuries that have embraced these basic statements of faith. These creeds form the core expression of our faith." The tripartite mission of NLCF is to: #invest in spiritual growth, #invite others to follow Jesus, and #inspire each other to change the world.
