Never Too Late (foaled 10 March 1957) was an American-bred, French-trained Thoroughbred racehorse. In a racing career lasting from August 1959 until October 1960, the filly ran nine times and won four races. As a two-year-old she proved herself capable of competing against the leading French colts by winning the Prix de la Salamandre at Longchamp and being narrowly beaten in the Grand Critérium. In the following year she was sent to Britain where she won the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket and Oaks at Epsom. She was then retired to stud at the end of her three-year-old season, and had some success as a broodmare. Background Never Too Late was a small chestnut filly bred by her owner Mrs Howell E. ''Rise'' is the debut album by Northern Ireland rock band The Answer. It has sold in excess of 30,000 copies in the UK & Europe and 10,000 on day one in Japan. The album was recorded at Olympic Studio 1 at the Monnow Valley Studio in Wales and the Albert Studio in London during the fall of 2005. Produced by Andy Bradfield and Avril MacKintosh, the Albert Productions team (with back room production from George Young) and Neal Calderwood from the band's hometown. Tracks released from the album were "Never Too Late", "Into The Gutter", "Under The Sky", "Come Follow Me" and "Be What You Want". Their website initially stated that ''Rise'' should have been released in the United States by December 2010. Bobby DeLaughter
Robert Burt DeLaughter Sr. (born February 28, 1954 in Vicksburg, Mississippi) is a former state prosecutor and then Hinds County Circuit Judge. He prosecuted and secured the conviction in 1994 of Byron De La Beckwith, charged with the murder of the civil rights leader Medgar Evers on June 12, 1963. Two earlier trials in Mississippi in 1964 had resulted in hung juries. Career On March 28, 2008, DeLaughter was suspended from the bench indefinitely by the Mississippi Supreme Court due to allegations of bribery and judicial misconduct. On February 12, 2009, DeLaughter pleaded not guilty to a five-count federal indictment; these charges were linked to the criminal investigation of disgraced tort attorney Richard Scruggs. On July 30, 2009, he pleaded guilty to one obstruction-of-justice charge. On November 13, 2009, DeLaughter was sentenced to 18 months in federal prison by Judge Glen Davidson.
