Neuenburg (Baden) station is a station in Neuenburg am Rhein in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It lies on the single-track on the Müllheim–Mulhouse railway. Deutsche Bahn (DB) designates it as a class 6 station. The station lies on the border between Baden (Germany) and Alsace (France) and is served by DB and SNCF trains. Location Neuenburg station is located on the southern outskirts of Neuenburg in an industrial area, a few metres from a small shopping centre. Neuenburg am Rhein (High Alemannic: ''Neiburg am Rhi'') is a town in the district Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald in Baden-Württemberg in southern Germany. Geography Geographical location Neuenburg is elevated on the right bank of the Altrhein on a terrace between the Vosges and the Black Forest, halfway between Freiburg im Breisgau and Basel at the former confluence of the Klemmbach in the Rhine. Ebringen (Breisgau) is a municipality in the district of Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald in Baden-Württemberg in southern Germany. Emmendingen (; Low Alemannic: ''Emmedinge'') is a town in Baden-Württemberg, capital of the district Emmendingen of Germany. It is located at the Elz River, north of Freiburg im Breisgau. The town contains more than 26,000 residents, which is the most in the Emmendingen district. Lahr (Schwarzw) station is the station of the town of Lahr (also known as Lahr/Schwarzwald, meaning Lahr in the Black Forest) on the Rhine Valley Railway in the German state of Baden-Württemberg. TER Grand Est or TER Fluo is the regional rail network serving the region of Grand Est, northeastern France. It is operated by the French national railway company SNCF. It was formed in 2016 from the previous TER networks TER Alsace, TER Lorraine and TER Champagne-Ardenne, when the respective regions were merged. Silberling is the colloquial name for the n-coaches of the Deutsche Bundesbahn, a type of regional Passenger car (rail), passenger coach of which more than 5,000 units were built from 1958 to 1981. Nearly all of the coaches have undergone extensive modernisation – these modernised units are widely known as ''Mintling'', ''Grünling'' ("greenling") or ''Rotling'' ("redling") after their exterior colours. DB Class 111
The Baureihe 111 is a class of electric locomotives built for the Deutsche Bundesbahn, and now owned by Deutsche Bahn AG. History Class 111 is the successor of the Class 110 express '' Einheitslokomotive''. Since demand for fast electric locomotives was high even after production of the 110 ended, the Deutsche Bundesbahn (DB) decided to commission a new batch in the 1970s. The bogies were replaced with a different type, significantly improving the locomotive's behaviour at higher speeds. The driver's cab also was significantly improved by the ''DB-Einheitsführerstand'' (jointly developed by the ''Bundesbahn-Zentralamt München'' and Krauss-Maffei and designed under ergonomic aspects) that was first used for Class 111 locos and whose basic layout nowadays still forms part of the cab design found in many of DB's locomotives and control cars.
