Jan De Brandt
Jan José De Brandt (born 20 January 1959) is a Belgian former volleyball player and current coach. He last coached for Fenerbahçe for 2017-18 season, before getting fired during playoffs. He also coached Fenerbahçe Acıbadem between mid of 2008-09 season to 2009–2010 season end, and led to win Women's Volleyball League and Volleyball Super Cup. He played volleyball between years 1967–1978 as a professional player and formerly coached CV Tenerife and Belgian national teams. He is married and has a son and a daughter who both also play volleyball. He speaks fluently Dutch, French, German and English. The Nepalese play many sports at national as well as at international level. The most popular sport played in Nepal is cricket followed by football. The Nepal national cricket team has achieved great achievements in comparison to other sport including participation in World Cup (World T20), cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane's participation in international leagues and gaining the One Day International status. Nepal's national sport is volleyball, officially declared on 23 May 2017. The club competes in the Martyr's Memorial A-Division League, the top flight of Nepali club football. Nepal Army Club, also known as Tribhuwan Army Club, is the departmental Army sporting club of Nepal and is based in Kathmandu. In cricket they play top domestic league National League Cricket, and in Prime Minister One Day Cup whereas in football they currently play in the top division of the country Martyr's Memorial A-Division League. South Asian Games
The South Asian Games (SAG or SA Games), formerly known as the South Asian Federation Games (SAFG or SAF Games), is a quadrennial multi-sport event held among the athletes from South Asia. The governing body of these games is South Asia Olympic Council (SAOC), formed in 1983. Currently, the SAOC comprises 7 member countries, namely Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. Afghanistan participated 4 times in the SAF Games since 2004, but left the SAOC after participating in the 2016th edition and joined CAOC.
