MC Skat Kat is an animated cat character who appeared with Paula Abdul in the video for her song "Opposites Attract" in 1989. History MC Skat Kat was created by Michael Patterson and performed by the Wild Pair duo of Bruce DeShazer and Marv Gunn on "Opposites Attract". MC Skat Kat's rap was written and performed by Derrick Stevens, although Romany Malco, who did the majority of the writing for the M.C. Skat Kat & the Stray Mob album, is often mistakenly credited for being the voice of the rap on Opposites Attract, a story perpetuated by Abdul herself. Derrick Stevens also provided vocals for the character in the MC Skat Kat solo album. Patterson got the idea for Skat Kat from the Gene Kelly movie '' Anchors Aweigh'', in which Kelly's character dances with Jerry, the mouse from the ''Tom and Jerry'' franchise. Michael Patterson (born 1905) was an English professional footballer who played as an inside forward. Career Born in South Shields,Frost, p. 403 Patterson spent his early career with The Dragon, Boldon Villa and Boldon Colliery Welfare. He moved from Boldon Colliery Welfare to Bradford City in March 1926, making 11 league appearances for the club, before moving to Doncaster Rovers in July 1927. Michael Patterson (Australian Footballer)
Michael Forster Patterson (7 January 194116 April 2002) was an Australian rules footballer and coach. Affectionately known as the "Swamp Fox", Patterson was a premiership ruckman with the Richmond Football Club in 1967, and also captain/coach of the 1972 Australian Champions, the North Adelaide Football Club. Richmond Patterson played for the Richmond Football Club between 1959 and 1969. When first choice ruck Neville Crowe was suspended for the 1967 grand final, Patterson stepped up brilliantly to compete with legendary ruckman Polly Farmer and made a major contribution to Richmond's 9-point victory. Michael Patterson is an American record producer and audio mixer, mixer. He has worked on the albums ''Midnite Vultures'' (1999) by Beck (where he was nominated for a Grammy award), ''Life After Death'' (1997) by Notorious B.I.G., the debut album by Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, ''B.R.M.C. (album), B.R.M.C.'' (2001), and dark pop duo She Wants Revenge's first two albums, ''She Wants Revenge (album), She Wants Revenge'' and ''This Is Forever (She Wants Revenge album), This Is Forever''. He also mixed the soundtrack and score to ''The Social Network'' and ''The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo''. Rex Ray (born Michael Patterson; September 11, 1956 – February 9, 2015) was an American graphic designer and collage artist, based in San Francisco. Early life and education Born as Michael Patterson on September 11, 1956, on a United States Army base near Landstuhl, Germany, and he was raised in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Colorado Springs, Colorado. He started making art in childhood, and by the 1970s he was part of the Mail art, mail art movement which was when he adopted the pseudonym "Rey Ray" based on a 1950s toy raygun brand of the same name. He said he changed his name to Rex Ray in order to start anew and be free of his past. He moved to San Francisco in 1981, to attend San Francisco Art Institute (SFAI) where he graduated.
