''Nefertiti, figlia del sole'' is a 1994 Italian film directed by Guy Gilles. Synopsis The film follows the theory that Nefertiti was a princess of the Mitanni, sent to marry Pharaoh Amenhotep III, then taken by Akhenaten as his wife. The plot is based on the desire for an archaeologist to find a means revive himself several millennia after his death. Guy Gilles
Guy Gilles born Guy Chiche (25 August 1938 - 3 February 1996) was a French film director. Biography He directed his first short film, ''Soleil éteint'' in 1958. He changed his surname to Gilles based on the name of his mother (Gilette) to create a pseudonym. After studying at the Beaux-Arts, he moved to Paris, where he worked as an assistant to François Reichenbach in 1964. His first feature film, '' L'Amour à la mer'' (1962), starred Daniel Moosmann and Geneviève Thénier, with guest appearances by Juliette Gréco, Alain Delon and Jean-Pierre Léaud. Patrick Jouan featured in many of his films. He also worked for television with productions such as '' Dim Dam Dom'' and ''Pour le plaisir''. His romantic relationship with Jeanne Moreau seemed to inspire the movie '' Absences répétées'' which received the Prix Jean-Vigo in 1973. Guy Cuevas is a Cuban-born writer, musician, and Paris disc jockey. Born Guillermo Cuevas Carrión, he worked the turntables at Club Sept, and Le Palace before becoming the artistic director, first of Les Bains Douches, then the Barrio Latino. As a DJ, he was known for a mix featuring the funk and soul of the Philadelphia Sound, along with his connections to the world of high fashion. Cuban Origins Guy Cuevas, (Guillermo Cuevas Carrión) was born in Havana, Cuba in 1945. He was awarded a scholarship to a playwriting workshop created shortly after the 1959 revolution.
