Kyaw Hein
Kyaw Hein (, ; born Kyaw Htay, 14 July 1947 – 11 July 2020) was a Burmese actor, film director and singer. He is the five-time winner of the Myanmar Motion Picture Academy Awards. He starred in and directed hundreds of films, and was considered one of the most important actors in Burmese cinema. He retired in 2008, and became a Theravada Buddhist monk, with the Dharma name (ကိတ္တိသာရ). He died as a monk on July 11, 2020 in Canberra, Australia. Early life Kyaw Hein was born on July 14, 1947 on the Kyaung Kone Road in Sanchaung township. His father was a retired District Police Chief named John Maung Sein ( DYSP) and his mother was a housewife named Cho Cho. He is the fourth child of six children. Swe Zin Htaik ( my, ဆွေဇင်ထိုက် ; born 13 June 1953; also spelt Swe Zin Htike and Grace) is a Myanmar Academy Award-winning actress, acting in over 200 movies throughout her film career, debuting in 1971. She retired from filming in 1991. She currently works with Population Services International, an international NGO in Burma, focusing on sex and HIV education. Aung Lwin ( my, အောင်လွင် ; born 23 October 1935) is a Myanmar Academy Award winning Burmese actor and director, having made his film debut in 1957. Early life and career Aung Lwin was born on Sittwe, Rakhine State, Myanmar. His parents are ethnic Rakhine U Aung Kyaw Zan and Daw Kywe. He also studied at No.3, Basic Education High School, Botahtaung for about five years. He made his film debut in 1957 and starred in the 2004 film '' Naug Ma Kja Kyay''. Gita Lulin Maung Ko Ko ( my, ဂီတလုလင် မောင်ကိုကို; 12 November 1928 – 10 October 2007) was a Burmese musician and composer. He is best known for his outstanding musical performances and won the Best Music Academy Awards for 1991, 1994 and 2002. Early life Maung Ko Ko was born on 12 November 1928 to parents U Ba Thin and Daw Phwar Thein in Bogale, Irrawaddy Division, British Burma. He was fourth son of six siblings.
