The Natural and Agrarian Museum (; pt, Museu Natural e Agrário) is a public museum in Seac Pai Van Park, Coloane, Macau, China. History The museum was established on 21 March 1997. Architecture The museum is housed in a wooden-style little house. It consists of five sections, which are Geography of Macau, Farming Tools of the Islands in Olden Days, Lives of Farmers, Specimens of Animals and Specimens of Plants. Coloane (Cantonese: Lou Wan) is a former island in Macau that is united with the island of Taipa by an area of reclaimed land known as Cotai. It is located at the southern part of Macau. Administratively, the boundaries of the traditional civil parish ( pt, freguesia) of São Francisco Xavier are coterminous with that of Coloane. Etymology Coloane was known in Cantonese as ''Gau Ou Saan'' (九澳山 ''lit.'' "Nine-inlet Mountain" or transcribed in Portuguese as Ká-Hó) and ''Yim Jou Waan'' (鹽灶灣, ''lit.'' "Salt-stove Bay"). The Seac Pai Van Park (; pt, Parque de Seac Pai Van) is a park in Coloane, Macau, China. It is the largest natural green area in Macau and is administered by the Civil and Municipal Affairs Bureau.
