Nationality Changes In Gymnastics
Nationality changing in the sport of gymnastics is when a gymnast opts to represent a new country in international competitions. Gymnasts may request a nationality change through their federations, provided they have citizenship. The number of nationality changes a federation may request for athletes is limited to two per year per discipline and three over all disciplines. If the previous country gives consent for the gymnast to represent the new country, the gymnast may immediately begin representing the new country in competition. If consent is not granted, the gymnast will have to wait a year before they can represent the new country. If a gymnast has already been granted a nationality change, they must wait a minimum of three years before they can make a new request. Gymnastics is a type of sport that includes physical exercises requiring balance, strength, flexibility, agility, coordination, dedication and endurance. Yulia Andreyevna Inshina (russian: Юлия Андреевна Иньшина, born 15 April 1995) is a Russian-born Azerbaijani artistic gymnast. She has been known for her consistent and reliable work, especially on balance beam. A competitor for Russia for several years, she began to represent Azerbaijan in November 2013. Anna Pavlova (gymnast)
Anna Anatolyevna Pavlova (russian: А́нна Анато́льевна Па́влова; born 6 September 1987) is a Russian-born artistic gymnast who won two bronze medals at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, and represented Russia in other international competitions. In 2002 she won the Russian National Championships. Pavlova competed for Azerbaijan from 2013, winning silver at the 2014 European Championships on vault. She was well known for her balletic style and clean technique. Pavlova retired in 2015 at the age of 28. John Orozco
John Orozco (born December 30, 1992) is an American artistic gymnast who competed in the 2012 Olympics and is the 2012 U.S national champion. He was selected to the U.S. Olympic gymnastics team for the 2016 Olympic Games, but withdrew on July 15, 2016 due to an ACL injury. After graduating High School at 17, John trained for 7 years at the United States Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Tyesha Mattis (born 17 April 1999 in Hackney, London) is a British artistic gymnast currently representing Jamaica in international competition. She trains at Hendon gymnastics club Junior career 2012 Mattis' first big elite meet was at the British Gymnastics Championships at the Echo Arena in Liverpool.
