National Taiwan University Of Arts
National Taiwan University of Arts (NTUA; ) is a university in Banqiao District, New Taipei City, Taiwan. It is the oldest and most prestigious art university in Taiwan. History National Taiwan University of Arts (NTUA) was established as the National School of Arts on October 31, 1955. In 1960, the name was changed to the National Taiwan Academy of Arts, and then in August 1994 to the National Taiwan College of Arts. The university took on its present name on August 1, 2001. Education at NTUA emphasizes humanistic thinking, creative production, theoretical analysis and hands-on practice. In terms of scope, the university offers courses on the local and the international, the avant garde and the traditional, the creative and the commercial, and the theoretical and the practical. Legislative Yuan
The Legislative Yuan is the unicameral legislature of the Republic of China (Taiwan) located in Taipei. The Legislative Yuan is composed of 113 members, who are directly elected for 4-year terms by people of the Taiwan Area through a parallel voting system. Originally located in Nanking, the Legislative Yuan, along with the National Assembly (electoral college) and the Control Yuan (upper house), formed the tricameral parliament under the original 1947 Constitution. The Legislative Yuan previously had 759 members representing each constituencies of all provinces, municipalities, Tibet, Outer Mongolia and various professions. Mou Tun-fei () (May 3, 1941 - May 25, 2019) was a Chinese filmmaker known for directing the infamous 1988 horror film ''Men Behind the Sun''. Biography Born on May 3, 1941 in Shandong, China, Mou's family left China for Taiwan in 1949 due to Chinese Civil War. Mou graduated from National School of Arts (now National Taiwan University of Arts) that could not even afford equipment for the students. Mou thus was forced to learn filmmaking by theory alone, mainly by watching films numerous times in theaters and identifying how many cuts the films contained. After graduation, Mou was assistant director on an anti-communist propaganda film called ''Give Back My Country'' and then directed numerous Taiwanese films in a style akin to the Italian neorealist movement. Li You-chi () is a Taiwanese politician. Li graduated from the National Taiwan University of Arts, National Taiwan College of Arts, completing his degree within the department of broadcasting, a division of the School of Communication, and earned a qualification as a social worker. He was affiliated with the Taiwan Confederation of Trade Unions and the Tobacco and Alcohol Trade Union. Ko Chun-hsiung (; 15 January 1945 – 6 December 2015) was a Taiwanese actor, director and politician. He had been acting since the 1960s and had appeared in more than 200 films. Kenji Wu (; born 18 October 1979) is a Taiwanese singer, songwriter, actor and director. Early life Wu was born on 18 October 1979 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
