Escalante, Utah
Escalante () is a city in central Garfield County, Utah, Garfield County, Utah, United States, located along Utah State Route 12, Utah Scenic Byway 12 (SR-12) in the south-central part of the state. As of the 2010 United States Census, 2010 census, 797 people were living in the city. The city is named after Silvestre Vélez de Escalante, a Franciscan missionary and a member of the first European expedition into southern Utah. Washington County, Utah
Washington County is a county in the southwestern corner of Utah, United States. As of the 2020 United States Census, the population was 180,279, making it the fifth-most populous county in Utah. Its county seat and largest city is St. George. The county was created in 1852 and organized in 1856. It was named after the first President of the United States, George Washington. Mount Carmel Junction and Mount Carmel are Unincorporated area, unincorporated communities located east of Zion National Park and north of Kanab, Utah, Kanab in Kane County, Utah, Kane County, Utah, United States. They lie in close proximity to the Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park. Springdale is a town in Washington County, Utah, United States. The population was 529 at the 2010 census. It is located immediately outside the boundaries of Zion National Park, and is oriented around the resulting tourist industry. Bryce Canyon National Park () is an American national park located in southwestern Utah. The major feature of the park is Bryce Canyon, which despite its name, is not a canyon, but a collection of giant natural amphitheaters along the eastern side of the Paunsaugunt Plateau. Big Water is a town in Kane County, Utah, United States. The population was 475 at the 2010 census, up from 417 at the 2000 census. It is located northwest of Page, Arizona, on US-89 near Lake Powell and the Glen Canyon Dam. It was originally called Glen Canyon City and housed workers who built the dam in the 1950s.
