Natan Bernardo de Souza (born 6 February 2001), simply known as Natan, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for La Liga side Betis. Career Flamengo Born in Serra, Natan began his career with Flamengo and made his professional debut for the club on 27 September 2020 against Palmeiras. He started and played the whole match as Flamengo drew 1–1. Red Bull Bragantino (loan) On 15 March 2021, Red Bull Bragantino signed Natan from Flamengo on loan until 31 December 2021 with a R$5m (€760,000) fee, the deal had a buying clause if Natan reached 20 official matches during the loan spell the total transfer fee would reach R$27 million (€4.32 million). Red Bull Bragantino () is a Brazilian football club based in Bragança Paulista, São Paulo. It competes in the Série A, the top tier of the Brazilian football league system, as well as in the Campeonato Paulista Série A1, the highest level of the São Paulo state football league. The club was known as Clube Atlético Bragantino, before club administration was taken over by Red Bull GmbH in 2020 who renamed the club to RB Bragantino and changed its colours from its traditional black and white to red and white. The CONMEBOL Sudamericana, also known as Copa Sudamericana (; ), is an annual international club football competition organized by CONMEBOL, the governing body of football in South America, since 2002.
