Narodno Pozorište
''Narodno pozorište'' is the debut album of the Serbian rock supergroup Familija, released in 1995. In 2021 the album was polled 99th on the list of 100 best Serbian rock albums published after the breakup of SFR Yugoslavia. The list was published in the book ''Kako (ni)je propao rokenrol u Srbiji'' (''How Rock 'n' Roll in Serbia (Didn't) Came to an End''). Background The album was the result of the collaboration of U Škripcu and Košava members Aleksandar "Vasa" Vasiljević (guitar) and Aleksandar "Luka" Lukić (guitar) with former Vampiri members Dejan "Peja" Pejović (vocals), Dejan "Dexi" Petrović (vocals) and drummer Goran "Gedža" Redžepi, in order to play music different than the one played in their own bands. The album was recorded at the Music Factory studio except for the opening track ("Baltazar"), which was recorded at the Studio "O" in Belgrade. Vampiri ( sr-cyr, Вампири, trans. '' The Vampires'') are a Serbian and Yugoslav rock band from Belgrade. The band was formed in 1990, and performed music influenced by the 1950s doo-wop and rockabilly. After releasing two studio albums, they disbanded in 1993. The band reunited in 1995, releasing two more albums, second of which featured harder rock sound, only to disband again in 1998. In 2012, the band reunited once again. History Band formation (1988-1990) The idea of forming a band came in 1988 as a collaboration between the Lollypops and Baby Boom members. Yellow Submarine (song)
"Yellow Submarine" is a song by the English rock band the Beatles from their 1966 album ''Revolver''. It was also issued on a double A-side single, paired with "Eleanor Rigby". Written as a children's song by Paul McCartney and John Lennon, it was drummer Ringo Starr's vocal spot on the album. The single went to number one on charts in the United Kingdom and several other European countries, and in Australia, Canada and New Zealand. It won an Ivor Novello Award for the highest certified sales of any single written by a British songwriter and issued in the UK in 1966. The Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, commonly referred to as SFR Yugoslavia or simply as Yugoslavia, was a country in Central and Southeast Europe. ''Professor Balthazar'' ( hr, Profesor Baltazar) is a Croatian animated television series for children about an old inventor that was produced between 1967 and 1978. It was created by animator Zlatko Grgić. The series revolves around benevolent genius Professor Balthazar. In each episode, someone in his surroundings has a problem, which he duly considers and invariably finds a solution to. He then activates a magical machine and produces an invention that will solve the problem. The characters of the series do not speak in any intelligible language, and the plot of the episodes is instead recounted by a narrator in voice-over. U Škripcu ( sr-cyr, У Шкрипцу; trans. ''In Dire Straits'') was a Yugoslav rock band formed in Belgrade in 1980. The band was formed in 1980 by Milan Delčić "Delča" (vocals), Aleksandar Vasiljević "Vasa" (guitar) and Zoran Vulović "Vule" (keyboards), the lineup soon being expanded with Aleksandar Lukić (bass guitar) and Miloš Obrenović (drums). Familija ( sr-cyr, Фамилија; trans. ''Family'') was a Serbian rock supergroup from Belgrade, consisting of Vampiri, Košava and U Škripcu members. The band's musical style was a combination of ska, pop, ethnic and rock music.
