Nancy Abraham Sumari
Nancy Abraham Sumari (born August 7, 1986) is a Tanzanian author, business woman, social entrepreneur and beauty pageant titleholder. She is the Managing Director of Bongo5 Media Group (T) Ltd, The Executive Director of The Neghesti Sumari Foundation and The Jenga Hub, as well as a published author of the children's book series, Nyota Yako. In 2017 Africa Youth Awards named her among the 100 Most Influential Young Africans. Early life and education Sumari was born in Arusha. She had her primary and secondary education in Kenya, and later graduated with a bachelor of business administration from University of Dar Es Salaam and a Future leaders of business and Industry from Lehigh University, PA. Arusha
Arusha City is a Tanzanian city and the regional capital of the Arusha Region, with a population of 416,442 plus 323,198 in the surrounding Arusha District Council (2012 census). Nakaaya Sumari
Nakaaya Sumari (born September 3, 1982 in Arusha) is a Tanzanian singer and rapper. She is the eldest of five children. Her younger sister, Nancy Sumari, was Miss Tanzania 2005 and Miss World Africa. Nakaaya was a featured star of the African Great Lakes region's first reality TV show called "Tusker Project Fame", that aired from October 1 to December 17, 2006. The show had aspiring singers from Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania all living together and receiving training in the music business. She lasted five weeks on the seven-week program. After the show, Nakaaya returned to Tanzania to record her first album. In February 2008, she released her debut album, ''Nervous Conditions''. The album was released independently and sold well although it was only released in cd format. Anita Queen Uwagbale is a Nigerian businesswoman and beauty pageant titleholder. Edo-native Uwagbale spent most of her early years in Lagos until she gained admission into Madonna University, Port Harcourt to study Accountancy. Msasani
Msasani is an administrative ward in the Kinondoni District of the Dar es Salaam Region of Tanzania. The ward is located north west of Dar es Salaam central business district. According to the 2002 census, the ward has a total population of 43,457. The ward is geographically a peninsula; both the ward and the peninsula are named after the Msasani village, which used to be the only settlement in the area. The intense urbanization of the area in recent times notwithstanding, it is still essentially a Swahili fishermen's village. Miss World 2005, the 55th edition of the Miss World pageant, was held on 10 December 2005 at the Crown of Beauty Theatre in Sanya, China. María Julia Mantilla of Peru crowned her successor Unnur Birna Vilhjálmsdóttir of Iceland. 102 contestants from all over the world competed for the crown. All contestants competed in three "fast track" events, Beach Beauty, Miss Talent, and Beauty With a Purpose contests.
