Huang Dongping
Huang Dongping (; born 30 April 1995) is a Chinese badminton player. She is the reigning mixed doubles Olympic Champion, and was two-time mixed doubles Asian Champion winning in 2018 and 2019. Career Huang competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics partnering with Wang Yilyu as the second seeds. The duo won a gold medal after beating their compatriots Zheng Siwei and Huang Yaqiong in the final in a close rubber game. Lim Bo Seng
Lim Bo Seng (; 27 April 1909 – 29 June 1944) was a Chinese-born resistance fighter based in Singapore and Malaya during World War II. Prior to the outbreak of World War II, he was a prominent businessman among the Chinese community in Singapore. When the Sino-Japanese War broke out, he participated in anti-Japanese activities in Singapore and then at Malaya. During the Japanese occupation of the region, he was tasked by the British to establish Force 136, a guerrilla task force backed by the Special Operations Executive (SOE). However, he was captured by Japanese forces in 1944 and died while interned. He is remembered as a war hero in contemporary Singapore and is buried at the MacRitchie Reservoir Park. His grandson, Lim Teck Yin, continued his military legacy by achieving the rank of brigadier general in the Singapore Army. Zheng Zhilong
Zheng Zhilong, Marquis of Tong'an and Nan'an (; April 16, 1604 – November 24, 1661), baptismal name Nicholas Iquan Gaspard, was a Chinese admiral, merchant, military general, pirate, and politician of the late Ming dynasty who later defected to the Qing dynasty. He was from Nan'an County in Fujian province of China. He was the father of Koxinga, Prince of Yanping, the founder of the pro-Ming Kingdom of Tungning in Taiwan, and as such an ancestor of the House of Koxinga. After his defection, he was given noble titles by the Qing government, but was eventually executed because of his son's continued resistance against the Qing regime. Lee Kong Chian
Lee Kong Chian (; 18 October 1893 – 2 June 1967), also known by his alias Lee Geok Kun (), was a prominent Chinese businessman and philanthropist based in Malaya and Singapore between the 1930s and the 1960s. He was the founder of the Lee Foundation and one of the richest men in Southeast Asia in the 1950s and 1960s. He was also a son-in-law of Tan Kah Kee, another well-known Chinese businessman and philanthropist based in Southeast Asia. Anhai is a town in southern Fujian province, People's Republic of China. It is located in the far southern suburbs of the Quanzhou metropolitan area. and is separated by Weitou Bay () from Kinmen, which is controlled by the Republic of China on Taiwan. Shijing Town () is a township-level division of Nan'an City, in southern Fujian Province, China. Geography Shijing Town is located on the western shore of the narrow Anhai Bay (the estuary of the Shijing River), where it opens into the Weitou Bay () of the Taiwan Strait.
