Nakajima Satoru F-1 Hero '94
is a 1994 Japan-exclusive Super Famicom Formula One arcade racing video game licensed (and also supervised) by Satoru Nakajima and by FOCA to Fuji Television. This was the sequel to ''Super F1 Hero'' and the last game ever endorsed by Nakajima. Summary The game is all in the Japanese language. All teams and circuits of the 1994 Formula One season are represented. The game reflects the driver line-up later in the season (for example, David Coulthard, who was the replacement driver for Ayrton Senna after Imola, is in the Williams, and Jean-Marc Gounon Replaces Roland Ratzenberger at Simtek. There's also the replacement of Karl Wendlinger, out for the rest of the season after Monaco, by Andrea de Cesaris). During the racing, the player can choose five type of views, from top-down perspective (similar to ''F-1 Grand Prix'') to 3D polygon-based (similar to '' F1 Pole Position''). Ayrton Senna da Silva (; 21 March 1960 – 1 May 1994) was a Brazilian racing driver who won the Formula One List of Formula One World Drivers' Champions, World Drivers' Championship in , , and . The Pacific Grand Prix ( ja, パシフィックグランプリ) was a round of the Formula One World Championship twice in the mid-1990s and non-championship events in the 1960s. The non-championship events were held at Laguna Seca from 1960 through 1963. The two championship races were held at the Tanaka International Aida circuit (now Okayama International Circuit), a slow and twisty track in the countryside of Aida, Japan. Autódromo José Carlos Pace
The Autódromo José Carlos Pace, better known as Interlagos, is a motorsport circuit located in the city of São Paulo, in the neighborhood of Interlagos. It was inaugurated on 12 May 1940, by the federal intervener Adhemar de Barros. The traditional name of the circuit and of the neighborhood itself comes from the fact that it is located in a region between two large artificial lakes, Guarapiranga and Billings, which were built in the beginning of the 20th century to supply the city with water and electricity. In 1985 the circuit was renamed to honor the Formula 1 driver José Carlos Pace, who died in a plane crash in 1977. Attached to its facilities there is a Kart circuit named after Ayrton Senna. The 1994 Brazilian Grand Prix (formally the XXIII Grande Prêmio do Brasil) was a Formula One motor race held on 27 March 1994 at the Autódromo José Carlos Pace, São Paulo. It was the first race of the 1994 Formula One World Championship. The 71-lap race was won by German driver Michael Schumacher, driving a Benetton-Ford, after starting from second position. Local hero Ayrton Senna took pole position in his Williams-Renault and led before being overtaken by Schumacher at the first round of pit stops, after which he spun off. Senna's British teammate Damon Hill finished second, with Frenchman Jean Alesi third in a Ferrari. F1 Pole Position (video Game)
''F1 Pole Position'' is a 1992 racing video game for the SNES, developed by Human Entertainment and published by them in Japan, while the other versions were handled by Ubisoft. It is the first game in the ''Human Grand Prix''/''F1 Pole Position'' series, which features Formula One licensing. Gameplay The sixteen actual race courses from the 1992 Formula One season are used in the game. The opposition cars can pass through one another without crashing. There is also a bug for the Canadian Grand Prix where at the hairpin, the barriers have a gap enabling one to drive through and onto the grass. Vehicles can be customized to adapt to the different race tracks. Everything can be changed; including the steering, gears, brakes, and suspension. There is an option for pit work to be manual or automatic, along with the option for automatic/manual gear shifting. Andrea De Cesaris
Andrea de Cesaris (31 May 19595 October 2014) was an Italian racing driver. He started 208 Formula One Grands Prix but never won. As a result, he holds the record for the most races started without a race victory. A string of accidents early in his career earned him a reputation for being a fast but wild driver. In 2005 and 2006 he competed in the Grand Prix Masters formula for retired F1 drivers. De Cesaris died on 5 October 2014 after losing control of his motorcycle on Rome's Grande Raccordo Anulare motorway. Driving career Pre-Formula One A multiple karting champion, he graduated to Formula 3 in Britain, winning numerous events and finishing 2nd in the 1979 British Formula Three Championship, as runner up to Chico Serra.
