National Class Category Up to 785 ccm ( sh, italic=yes, Nacionalna klasa do 785 ccm) is a 1979 Yugoslav comedy film directed by Goran Marković. Plot A young man from the suburbs of Belgrade, Floyd, a car racer in the national class, in accordance with his passion, is also considered a great lover. But it is not in line with his ambitions to continue racing in the national class. In order to move to a higher class, he must win an important race, and to succeed in this he must postpone his military service. Mile, a kidney patient, who goes to check-ups instead of him, serves him for that. However, it fails, as does avoiding marriage with the "official" girlfriend Šilja, who has become pregnant. In the end, he loses the race, loses his freedom, but gains a friend - only Mile comes to see him off to the army. Goran Marković (film Director)
Goran Marković ( sr-cyr, Горан Марковић, ) (born 24 August 1946) is a Serbian film and theatre director, screenwriter, writer, and playwright. He has directed approximately 50 documentaries, 13 feature films, and 3 theatre plays. He has also written five books. Marković is one of the few directors from the former Yugoslavia credited with popularizing Yugoslav films, as well as achieving success domestically and internationally. Career Marković was born in Belgrade to Rade and Olivera Marković, both established Serbian actors. He finished 5th Belgrade Gymnasium prior to attending FAMU at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. Danilo Stojković ( sr-cyr, Данило Стојковић; 11 August 1934 – 16 March 2002), commonly nicknamed Bata (Бата), was a Serbian theatre, television and film actor. Stojković's numerous comedic portrayals of the "small man fighting the system" made him popular with Serbian and ex-Yugoslav audiences, most of them coming in collaborations with either director Slobodan Šijan or scriptwriter Dušan Kovačević, or both. Dragoslav "Dragan" Nikolić ( sr-cyr, Драгослав Драган Николић, ; 20 August 1943 – 11 March 2016) was a Yugoslav and later, Serbian actor. Nikolić studied at Dramatic Arts Academy in Belgrade. In 1967 he starred in the film '' Kad budem mrtav i beo'', which was the beginning of a career that lasted 50 years. Dragan Nikolić has since appeared in many films of different genres and portrayed various characters, becoming one of the most recognizable actors in Serbian cinema.
