NXT Heritage Cup
The NXT Heritage Cup is a men's professional wrestling championship created and promoted by the American promotion WWE. It is a specialized championship for NXT, the promotion's developmental brand. The title is defended just like any other championship but has a special stipulation in which all matches are contested under British Rounds Rules. The current champion is Charlie Dempsey, who is in his second reign. He won the title by defeating previous champion Tony D'Angelo by 2–1 on the August 13, 2024, episode of ''NXT''. Unveiled on September 10, 2020, as the NXT UK Heritage Cup, it was originally established as a secondary championship for NXT UK, which was a sister brand of NXT based in the United Kingdom. The inaugural champion was A-Kid. At Worlds Collide on September 4, 2022, all other NXT UK championships were unified into their respective NXT championship counterparts due to the closure of NXT UK. NXT is a WWE brand extension, brand of the American professional wrestling Professional wrestling promotion, promotion WWE that was introduced on February 23, 2010. Brands are divisions of WWE's roster where wrestlers are assigned to perform on a weekly basis when a brand extension is in effect. Wrestlers assigned to NXT primarily appear on the brand's weekly television program, ''WWE NXT, NXT''. Ryan Satin
Ryan Satin is an American pop culture and professional wrestling journalist. He was a producer for TMZ and founded Pro Wrestling Sheet which reports on professional wrestling and mixed martial arts. He has since left the site and now works for Fox Sports. He is the son of Scott Satin, a Hollywood producer and writer. The No Quarter Catch Crew (NQCC) is an American professional wrestling stable currently performing in WWE on the NXT brand, while also making appearances in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling and Pro Wrestling Noah. The group currently consists of leader Charlie Dempsey, Myles Borne, Tavion Heights, and Wren Sinclair. Dempsey is the current NXT Heritage Cup Champion in his second reign. NXT Battleground (2023)
The 2023 NXT Battleground was the sixth Battleground professional wrestling livestreaming event produced by WWE. It was held for wrestlers from the promotion's NXT brand division. The event took place on May 28, 2023, at the Tsongas Center in Lowell, Massachusetts. It was the first Battleground held since July 2017, as well as the first to livestream on Peacock. Six matches were contested at the event. In the main event, Carmelo Hayes defeated Bron Breakker to retain the NXT Championship. Joseph Conners
Joseph Conners (born 28 May 1987) is an English professional wrestler. Conners competed in many British wrestling promotions, most notably New Generation Wrestling (NGW) and What Culture Pro Wrestling (WCPW), where he was a one-time WCPW Champion. Benjamin Maurice Webb (born 21 August 1981), better known by the ring name Trent Seven, is an English professional wrestler, wrestling promoter, and actor. He was signed to WWE on their NXT UK brand, where he is a former NXT UK Tag Team Champion.
