NWA Canadian Junior Heavyweight Championship
The NWA Canadian Junior Heavyweight Championship was the National Wrestling Alliance Board-controlled version of the Canadian Junior Heavyweight title. Previous non-NWA versions of the title also existed in Alberta, Ontario and Manitoba. The title has existed since 1998. The NWA Canadian Light Heavyweight Championship was a title that existed before the NWA Canadian Junior Heavyweight Championship. The NWA Canadian Light Heavyweight Championship was vacated upon the inception of the NWA Canadian Junior Heavyweight Championship. Being a professional wrestling championship, it is not won via direct competition; it is instead won via a predetermined ending to a match or awarded to a wrestler because of a wrestling angle. There have been 37 reigns by 24 wrestlers with five vacancies. One of the vacancies came when Tony Kozina vacated the title upon winning the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship. The Bollywood Boyz are a Canadian professional wrestling tag team composed of brothers Gurvinder "Gurv" Sihra (born November 13, 1984) and Harvinder "Harv" Sihra (born November 2, 1987). John Murphy (sanatorium Operator)
John E. "Dropkick" Murphy (May 12, 1912 – October 17, 1977) was an American professional wrestler and sanatorium owner. He operated the Bellows Farms Sanatorium, an alcoholic rehabilitation facility in Acton, Massachusetts from 1941 to 1971. The band Dropkick Murphys is named after him. Billy Suede is a professional wrestler based out of Western Canada. He is best known for working for NWA: Extreme Canadian Championship Wrestling, but has competed for independent promotions in Canada and the United States, as well as in the Philippines. Suede is one of a few wrestlers who came to ECCW after training in Alberta with Lance Storm.
