N82 Highway
National Route 82 (N82) is a minor primary route connecting the cities of Lapu-Lapu and Mandaue. It is the second shortest primary route, the first being the N61 highway in Metro Manila. The route consists of A.C. Cortes Avenue, the Mactan-Mandaue Bridge, Maximo V. Patalinjug, Jr. Avenue and the Basak–Marigondon Road. Mandaue (), officially the City of Mandaue ( ceb, Dakbayan sa Mandaue; fil, Lungsod ng Mandaue), is a 1st class highly urbanized city in the Central Visayas region of the Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 364,116 people. Mandaue City is located on the central-eastern coastal region of Cebu. Lapu-Lapu City, officially the City of Lapu-Lapu ( ceb, Dakbayan sa Lapu-Lapu; fil, Lungsod ng Lapu-Lapu), is a 1st class highly urbanized city in the Central Visayas region of the Philippines. N61 Highway (Philippines)
Roxas Boulevard is a popular waterfront promenade in Metro Manila in the Philippines. The boulevard, which runs along the shores of Manila Bay, is well known for its sunsets and stretch of coconut trees. Mactan–Mandaue Bridge
The Mactan–Mandaue Bridge, officially known as Serging Veloso Osmeña Jr. Bridge, also known as the First Cebu-Mactan Bridge is a truss bridge that connects the cities of Mandaue and Lapu-Lapu in Metro Cebu, Philippines. It is one of three bridges that spans across the Mactan Channel, the other being the Marcelo Fernan Bridge & the Cebu–Cordova Bridge, and connects the islands of Cebu and Mactan. History On September 19, 1968, Cebu Governor Rene G. Espina, then Acting Secretary of Public Works, Transportation and Communications, met with Danao Mayor Beatriz Durano, Samboan Mayor Beatriz Calderon, Mandaue Mayor Demetrio Cortez, and S.C. Shangkuan, the bridge's contractor in Malacañang Palace to discuss with then President Ferdinand Marcos, about the construction of the bridge. National Route 841 (N841) is a , two-to-four lane national secondary route that forms part of the Philippine highway network, connecting the cities of Lapu-Lapu and Mandaue. It is carried by the Marcelo Fernan Bridge, constructed in 1996 and opened in 1999. History The route was assigned the number N841 during the addition of National Routes in late 2016. An underpass and road widening project for the route's road has been undertaken to ease the traffic congestion caused by the many vehicles traveling to and from the Mactan-Cebu International Airport, but it has instead caused massive amounts of inconvenience as the project remains unfinished. The Cebu–Cordova Link Expressway (CCLEX), also known as the Cebu–Cordova Bridge and the Third Cebu–Mactan Bridge (or simply, the Third Bridge), is an toll bridge expressway in Metro Cebu. N8 Highway
National Route 8 (N8) is a north-south major primary national route that forms part of the Philippine Highway Network in the province of Cebu. There are two highways that make up the road: the Cebu North Road and Natalio Bacalso Avenue (also known as the Cebu South Road). It runs from Danao to Santander. The highway also forms part of the Philippine Nautical Highway System, particularly the Central Nautical Highway from Danao to Cebu City and Western Nautical Highway from Cebu City to Santander.
