N' My Neighborhood (
''N' My Neighborhood'' is the fifth studio album by American rapper MC Eiht, and his third solo album outside the Compton's Most Wanted brand. It was released on June 20, 2000 through Hoo-Bangin'/Priority Records, making it his sophomore and final album for the label. Production was handled by seven record producers, Young Tre, Caviar, DJ Raw Steele, DJ Slip, Overdose, Binky Mack of Allfrumtha I, and MC Eiht himself, with Hoo-Bangin' Records founder Mack 10 serving as executive producer. It features guest appearances from Mack 10, Soultre, Techniec, and CMW members. The album peaked at number 95 on the ''Billboard'' 200 and at number 23 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart in the United States. It sold over 300,000 copies, which was great considering the album had little promotion. Allfrumtha I
Allfrumtha I was an American rap duo from Inglewood, California: Binky Mack and Squeak Ru. They first appeared together on Westside Connection's 1996 debut album, ''Bow Down''. Before dropping their self-titled debut album on Priority Records in 1998, they appeared together on several Priority Records soundtracks and compilations, including: ''The Substitute'', ''West Coast Bad Boyz II'', ''Big Thangs'', ''Gang Related'', '' Straight Outta Compton: N.W.A 10th Anniversary Tribute'', and '' Thicker Than Water''. Background Binky Mack and Squeak Ru picked up that creative perspective from Westside Connection, the West Coast supergroup composed of Ice Cube, Mack 10 and WC. Vernon Johnson (born December 24, 1970), professionally known by his stage name Tha Chill, is an American rapper and record producer. He embarked on his music career in the early 1990s, as a co-founder of the Compton-based West Coast hip hop/ gangsta rap group Compton's Most Wanted, along with frontman Aaron "MC Eiht" Tyler. Hoo-Bangin' Records is a record label founded by Dedrick "Mack 10" Rolison. He took the name from the name of the song "Hoo Bangin'" by his group, Westside Connection. Hoo-Bangin' Records was recently released from its contract at Priority Records and Capitol Records and now signed a deal with Fontana Distribution.
