N. Lingusamy
Nammalvar Lingusamy, (born 14 November 1967), is an Indian film director, screenwriter, and film producer in Tamil cinema based in Chennai. Lingusamy made his directorial debut with ''Aanandham'' in 2001 and followed by ''Run'' (2002), ''Sandakozhi'' (2005), ''Paiyaa'' (2010) and ''Vettai'' (2012). He and his brother N. Subash Chandrabose have also produced films through his production company, Thirupathi Brothers. Career Lingusamy born on 14 November 1967 and hails from a town Kumbakonam, Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu. He joined as an assistant director to director '' A. Venkatesh'' for his Tamil film '' Mahaprabhu'' (1996) and followed in his next film ''Selva'' (1996). Kudavasal or Kodavasal is a panchayat in Thiruvarur district in the Indian States and territories of India, state of Tamil Nadu. The town is the headquarters of Kudavasal taluk. Kumbakonam (formerly spelt as Coombaconum or Combaconum) or Kudanthai is a city municipal corporation in the Thanjavur district in the States of India, Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Vishal Krishna Reddy (born 29 August 1977), also known as Vishal, is an Indian actor and film producer from Tamil cinema. The younger son of film producer G. K. Reddy, Vishal studied Visual Communications at Loyola College, Chennai. Best known for his roles in action films, he produces films under his production company, Vishal Film Factory. Tamil Nadu State Film Awards
Tamil Nadu State Film Awards were given for excellence in Tamil cinema in India. They were given annually to honour the best talents and provide encouragement and incentive to the South Indian film industry by the Government of Tamil Nadu. The awards were decided by a committee headed by a Judge. The awards were first given in 1967 and discontinued after 1970. The awards were given again in 1977 and continued till 1982. The awards were not given in the years 1971 to 1976. However, in the year 1977, the awards for Best Actress and Best Actor were announced for the years 1971 to 1976 by way of honorary certificates by the government led by the then chief minister M.G.Ramachandran. Vikraman is an Indian film director primarily working in Tamil cinema. Career 1990–1994 He worked as an assistant to actor and director R. Parthiban in ''Puthiya Pathai'' (1989), which was the latter's debut film as a director and an actor. Vikraman made his directorial debut with the film ''Pudhu Vasantham'' (1990) produced by R. B.
