Mže
The Mže (; ) is a long river, mostly in the Czech Republic. Its source is situated in the Griesbach Forest ( above sea level), Germany, near the village of Asch, in the municipality of Mähring, Tirschenreuth district. It forms the state boundary for a short distance of and then finally enters Czech territory. It passes through the towns of Tachov and Stříbro. At the confluence with the Radbuza, it forms the Berounka in Pilsen. Its major left tributary is Hamerský potok and the right tributary is Úhlava. Berounka
The Berounka is a river in the Czech Republic, long, the biggest left tributary of Vltava, draining an area of . It carries the name Mže () for from its source in Germany, next to the Czech border, until its confluence with the Radbuza in Plzeň. It then continues with the name of Berounka until it enters the Vltava on the edge of Prague. Originally, the entire stream was called Mže, but in the 17th century the lower course started to be named after the town Beroun, lying upon it. Stříbro
Stříbro (; german: Mies) is a town in Tachov District in the Plzeň Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 7,400 inhabitants. The town centre with the Renaissance Stříbro bridge is well preserved and is protected by law as an urban monument zone. Tachov
Tachov (; german: Tachau) is a town in the Plzeň Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 13,000 inhabitants. It lies on the Mže River. The town centre is well preserved and is protected by law as an urban monument zone. Radbuza
The Radbuza (; ) is a river in the Czech Republic, the right source river of the Berounka. Its source is situated at the foot of Lysá mountain (869 metres) near the village of Závist, near Domažlice. It passes through the villages and towns of Rybník, Smolov, Bělá nad Radbuzou, Horšovský Týn, Staňkov, Holýšov, Stod, Chotěšov, Zbůch and Dobřany before joining the Mže in Plzeň, and as the Berounka eventually reaching the Vltava at Prague. Mies, Switzerland
Mies is a municipality in the district of Nyon in the canton of Vaud in Switzerland. Mies is one of the communes of the Canton de Vaud which are collectively known as the " Terre-Sainte". Located approximately halfway between Geneva and Nyon, Mies sits on Lake Geneva (''Lac Léman''), which lies to the southeast. The highest point of Mies is 455m above sea level. To the southwest lies Versoix, in the Canton of Geneva and to the northwest Chavannes-de-Bogis, which houses a major shopping mall.
