Mümtaz Tahincioğlu
Mümtaz Tahincioğlu (born 1952 in Mardin, Turkey) is a former racing car driver and long-time president of the Turkish Motorsports Federation (TOSFED), FIA Council Member, and served as the secretary general of the sports club Galatasaray S.K. Tahincioğlu lived in England between 1968 and 1989. He won the Turkish Karting Championship three times between 1989 and 1992 prior to racing in the World Karting Championships for Turkey. He competed in the first edition of Turkish Formula Three Championship in 1994. Tahincioglu was president of the Turkish Motorsports Federation (TOSFED) between 1997 and 2012, succeeded by Demir Berberoğlu. Mardin
Mardin ( ku, Mêrdîn; ar, ماردين; syr, ܡܪܕܝܢ, Merdīn; hy, Մարդին) is a city in southeastern Turkey. The capital of Mardin Province, it is known for the Artuqid architecture of its old city, and for its strategic location on a rocky hill near the Tigris River that rises steeply over the flat plains. The old town of the city is under the protection of UNESCO, which forbids new constructions to preserve its façade. Jason ( ; ) was an ancient Greek mythological hero and leader of the Argonauts, whose quest for the Golden Fleece featured in Greek literature. He was the son of Aeson, the rightful king of Iolcos. He was married to the sorceress Medea. He was also the great-grandson of the messenger god Hermes, through his mother's side. 2007 GP2 Series Season
The 2007 GP2 Series season was the forty-first season of the second-tier of Formula One feeder championship and also third season under the GP2 Series moniker. The series began on 14 April at Bahrain. Timo Glock was crowned series champion on 30 September after winning the final round at Valencia, with Brazilian Lucas di Grassi finishing second. Season summary The season started in Bahrain. Luca Filippi started the season with win from pole, while Nicolas Lapierre took his first GP2 win in his third season in the sprint race. FMS International
Coloni Motorsport, also known as Scuderia Coloni, was an auto racing team from Italy. Formed by Enzo Coloni in 1983, the team participated in Formula Three between 1983 and 1986, before racing in Formula One as Enzo Coloni Racing Car Systems between and . They made 82 attempts to take part in a Formula One race but only qualified 14 times. GP2 Series
The GP2 Series was a form of open wheel motor racing introduced in 2005 following the discontinuation of the long-term Formula One feeder series, Formula 3000. The GP2 format was conceived by Bernie Ecclestone and Flavio Briatore, while Ecclestone also has the rights to the name GP1. The series was organized by Bruno Michel. In 2010, the GP3 Series class was launched, as a feeder class for the GP2 series. In 2017, the series was rebranded as the FIA Formula 2 Championship.
