Mötley Records
Mötley Records is a record label founded by the American heavy metal band Mötley Crüe after severing their ties with Elektra Records and acquiring the rights to their music catalog. It serves as a successor to the band's original record label Leathür Records, which released their 1981 debut album ''Too Fast for Love'', an imprint of Greenworld Distribution, owned by the band and original manager Allan Coffman. Leathür was soon closed when Mötley Crüe signed a deal with Elektra, which lasted until 1997. Albums produced under Mötley Records include ''Saints of Los Angeles'', '' Red, White & Crüe'', and '' New Tattoo''. In addition, the label also re-released the band's first seven albums as a "Crücial Crüe" edition. Mötley Records was originally distributed by Beyond Records, which in turn was distributed by BMG. Beyond Records folded shortly afterwards. Now the label is currently distributed by Hip-O Records and Universal Music Group, though since 2008 this has ...

Mötley Crüe
Mötley Crüe is an American heavy metal band formed in Los Angeles in 1981. The group was founded by bassist Nikki Sixx, drummer Tommy Lee, lead guitarist Mick Mars and lead singer Vince Neil. Mötley Crüe has sold over 100 million albums worldwide. They have also achieved seven platinum or multi-platinum certifications, nine Top 10 albums on the ''Billboard'' 200 chart (including 1989's '' Dr. Feelgood'', which is Mötley Crüe's only album to reach number one), twenty-two Top 40 mainstream rock hits, and six Top 20 pop singles. The band experienced several short-term lineup changes in the 1990s and 2000s; these included the introduction of vocalist John Corabi (who was Neil's replacement from 1992 to 1996) and drummers Randy Castillo and Samantha Maloney, both of whom filled in for Lee following his departure from Mötley Crüe in 1999; he returned to the band in 2004. More recently in 2022 guitarist Mick Mars announced his retirement from touring with the band, with for ...

Red, White & Crüe
''Red, White & Crüe'' is the eighth compilation album by the heavy metal band Mötley Crüe, released on February 1, 2005 by Mötley Records and charted at number 6 on The Billboard 200. To coincide with the album's release, the band reunited with drummer Tommy Lee, who left the band in 1999. Background Bassist Nikki Sixx commented on the band's reunion, comparing it to "seeing Mike Tyson fight. He probably won’t bite anyone’s ear off — but you’re there in case he does." According to vocalist Vince Neil, the early stages of the band's reunion were "kinda' strained. I hadn’t talked to Tommy Lee in years. Everyone was really guarded and had their managers there. It was very strange. Mick Mars was home, I guess. Either there or the hospital." Release and promotion ''Red, White & Crüe'' features three new studio recordings: the album's lead single, "If I Die Tomorrow", co-written by pop punk band Simple Plan, the second single " Sick Love Song" and "Street Fighting ...
