Måneskin
Måneskin are an Italian Rock music, rock band formed in Rome in 2016. The band are composed of vocalist Damiano David, bassist Victoria De Angelis, guitarist Thomas Raggi, and drummer Ethan Torchio. Performing in the streets in their early days, they rose to prominence after finishing second in the X Factor (Italian season 11), eleventh season of the Italian talent show ''X Factor (Italian TV series), X Factor'' in 2017. Their international breakthrough ensued when the foursome won the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 for with the song "Zitti e buoni". The band have released two studio albums, ''Il ballo della vita'' (2018) and ''Teatro d'ira: Vol. I'' (2021). It was produced by the band and Fabrizio Ferraguzzo, and won the Sanremo Music Festival 2021, Sanremo Music Festival and Eurovision Song Contest 2021. ''Chosen'' is the debut extended play by Italian rock band Måneskin. It was released on 8 December 2017 and peaked at number 3 on the Italian Albums Chart. The EP includes the single with the same name and another original song ("Recovery"), both in English, and various cover songs performed during the eleventh season of '' X Factor Italia''. Damiano David
Damiano David (; born 8 January 1999) is an Italian singer. He is the frontman of the rock band Måneskin, which won the Sanremo Music Festival 2021 and subsequently the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 representing Italy with the song "Zitti e buoni". Career David was born in Rome to Daniele David and Rosa Scognamiglio, both flight attendants. Due to the nature of his parents' work, he and his older brother Jacopo travelled worldwide from an early age, introducing them to various cultures. Until he was 17, he showed some talent playing basketball as a point guard at the local club Eurobasket Roma. Victoria De Angelis (; born 28 April 2000) is an Italian bassist. She founded the rock band Måneskin in 2015 alongside vocalist Damiano David, guitarist Thomas Raggi, and Ethan Torchio, with whom she won the Sanremo Music Festival 2021 and subsequently the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 for Italy in the Eurovision Song Contest 2021, Italy with the song "Zitti e buoni".
