''Máxima'' is a monthly women's fashion magazine published in Lisbon, Portugal, which is the Portuguese version of the French women's magazine ''Madame Figaro''. History and profile ''Máxima'' started in 1988 as a Portuguese version of ''Madame Figaro'', being the first international edition of the magazine. The first issue was published in October 1988. The founding publisher was Edirevistas Sociedade Editorial S.A. The magazine is owned by Cofina and is published by Cofina Media on a monthly basis. Its headquarters is in Lisbon. As of 2015 Sofia Lucas was the editor-in-chief of ''Máxima''. The magazine publishes a list of Women of the Year. The major topics for the monthly are fashion and beauty, but it also covers all women-related news. Máxima FM
Máxima FM was the main Spanish top 40-leaning electronic dance music station. It is part of Cadena SER radio stations, owned by PRISA Group. It was founded in 2002 and it is based in Madrid. On October 9, 2019, Maxima FM was replaced by Los40 Dance. Current Máxima FM radio DJs include highly regarded electronic scene artists like Roger Sánchez, Wally Lopez and Carl Cox. History Máxima FM was one of the radio stations of Unión Radio, owned by Grupo PRISA. It was created on March 29, 2002, as a dedicated electronic music station in all its aspects, including black music. The beginning of this project coincided with the promotion of Toni Sánchez, former presenter of the magazine Lo+40 of Los 40, to the post of deputy director of the Cadena SER.
