Myung Film Co., Ltd. (Hangul: 명필름) is a South Korean film production and distribution company. Established in the Republic of Korea by Shim Jae-myung, the company has distributed films throughout South Korea since its founding in September 1995. The institute's first feature film ''In Between Seasons'' (2016) was directed by first-time director Lee Dong-eun who graduated from its first Film Directing major graduating class. ''In Between Seasons'' was screened in the New Currents section at the 21st Busan International Film Festival where it won the KNN Award. Vesoul International Film Festival Of Asian Cinema
The Vesoul International Film Festival of Asian Cinema (French: Festival international des cinémas d'Asie) is an annual special-interest film festival focusing on the cinemas of Asia. The festival is held annually in Vesoul, France. It was created in 1995 by Martine and Jean-Marc Thérouanne who have been codirecting the festival since then. The highest award of the festival is the Golden Cyclo Award. Other awards include the Special Langues "O" Award, given by the French National Institute for Oriental Languages and Civilizations and the Emile Guimet Award by the Friends Association of National Museum of Asian Arts-Guimet at the festival. In the 17th edition of the festival, which attracted an audience of 28,700, three awards were given to the Chinese film "Addicted to Love" by director Liu Hao. 21st Busan International Film Festival
The 21st Busan International Film Festival was held from October 6 to October 15, 2016 at the Busan Cinema Center and was hosted by Sol Kyung-gu and Han Hyo-joo. The Korean Film Council (KOFIC) () is a state-supported, self-administered organization under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) of the Republic of Korea.
