Mystikal
Michael Lawrence Tyler (born September 22, 1970), better known by his stage name Mystikal, is an American rapper. Early life and education Tyler grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana's 12th Ward. His father, who ran a small neighborhood store, died when Tyler was seven. He attended Cohen High School and afterward joined the United States Army as a combat engineer. As an aspiring rapper, he opened for Run-DMC and Doug E. Fresh at an outdoor concert at the Treme Center. Leroy "Precise" Edwards, the house producer for Big Boy Records, was in the audience, and granted him a contract. Career 1994–1996: Early career and stint with Big Boy Records Mystikal's debut album, ''Mystikal'', was released on New Orleans-based independent record label Big Boy in 1994. Shake Ya Ass
"Shake Ya Ass", also known by its clean title, "Shake It Fast", is the first single released from American rapper Mystikal's album, ''Let's Get Ready''. It also features uncredited vocals from Pharrell. It was released July 18, 2000 and produced by The Neptunes. It was a huge success for Mystikal, peaking at number 13 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100, number 3 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and number 7 on the Hot Rap Singles. Both the song and music video (directed by Little X) received heavy radio airplay and it has possibly become Mystikal's most well-known song. "Danger (Been So Long)" is the second single released by American rapper Mystikal from his fourth album, ''Let's Get Ready'' (2000), featuring singer Nivea. The song was released on December 12, 2000, and was produced by the Neptunes. "Danger" was a success commercially, peaking at number 14 on the US ''Billboard'' Hot 100, number one on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart, and number three on the Hot Rap Singles chart. ''Ghetto Fabulous'' is the third studio album by the New Orleans-based rapper Mystikal. It was released on December 15, 1998, by No Limit Records. It was produced by Beats By the Pound. Like his previous album, this also proved to be a success peaking at #5 on the Billboard 200, ''Billboard'' 200 and #1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums selling 386,000 copies in its first week.

No Limit Records is an American record company founded by Master P. The label's albums were distributed by Priority Records, Universal and Koch Records. The label included artists such as Snoop Dogg, Mercedes, Silkk the Shocker, Mystikal, Mia X, Mac, C-Murder, Magic, Romeo Miller, Fiend, Kane & Abel, and Soulja Slim. Big Boy Records also known as the Boot Camp Clicc, was an independent record label established in late 1992 by Charles "Big Boy" Temple; Robert "Big Rob" Shaw";and his producer Leroy "Precise" Edwards. For several years in the 1990s, Big Boy Records ruled the hip hop music industry in New Orleans until Master P's No Limit Records and Birdman's Cash Money Records became powerhouse labels.
