Myriam Leuenberger
Myriam Leuenberger (born 22 January 1987) is a Swiss former competitive figure skater. She is the 2014 Coupe du Printemps bronze medalist and a three-time Swiss national medalist. At the 2012 European Championships, she qualified to the final segment and finished 21st overall. The Coupe du Printemps in March 2014 was her final international competition. She was coached bMark Pepperdayand Gheorghe Chiper. In July 2014, Leuenberger teamed up with Germany's Robin Szolkowy to perform in ice shows. 2012 European Figure Skating Championships
The 2012 European Figure Skating Championships was an international figure skating competition in the 2011–12 figure skating season, 2011–12 season. The event determined the European Champions in single skating, men's singles, ladies singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. The competition was held from 23 to 29 January 2012 in Sheffield, England. Qualification Skaters were eligible for the event if they were representing a European International figure skating, member nations of the International Skating Union and had reached the age of 15 before 1 July 2011 in their place of birth. Edvin Marton
Edvin Marton (born Lajos Edvin Csűry, 17 February 1974, Vylok, Ukraine) is a Ukrainian-born Hungarian composer and violinist. He became known as the violinist of the skaters, mainly because Evgeni Plushenko, Stéphane Lambiel, Yuzuru Hanyu (as a tribute to Plushenko), and other famous skaters often skated to his music. Biography He was born in an area of Ukraine largely inhabited by ethnic Hungarians. He was born into a musical family and by the age of four was already learning the violin from his parents. He was eight years old when accepted into that alma mater for the most talented musicians of the Soviet Union, the Central Tchaikowsky Music School in Moscow to study under Leo Lundstrem. The Bavarian Open is an annual international figure skating competition organized by the Skating Union of Bavaria. Since 2011, it is sanctioned by the Deutsche Eislauf Union and the International Skating Union. The event is held in February at Eissportzentrum Oberstdorf in Oberstdorf, Germany. European Figure Skating Championships
The European Figure Skating Championships is an annual figure skating competition in which figure skaters compete for the title of European champion. Medals are awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, women's singles, pair skating, and ice dance. The event is sanctioned by the International Skating Union (ISU) and is the sport's oldest competition. The first European Championships was held in 1891 in Hamburg, Germany and featured one segment, compulsory figures, with seven competitors, all men from Germany and Austria. James Horner
James Roy Horner (August 14, 1953 – June 22, 2015) was an American composer. He was known for the integration of choral and electronic elements, and for his frequent use of motifs associated with Celtic music.
