Mynydd Llandegai Football Club ( cy, Clwb Pêl Droed Mynydd Llandegai) is a Welsh football team based in Mynydd Llandegai, Gwynedd, North Wales. They play in the . History The club were Caernarfon & District League champions in the 2012–13 season and were promoted to the Gwynedd League in 2013–14. They were promoted in two successive seasons to the Welsh Alliance League Division Two in 2014–15, and Division One in 2015–16. Mynydd Llandegai
Mynydd Llandygái (also spelt Mynydd Llandegai, ; from Welsh ''mynydd'' "mountain", ''Llandygai'' "Church of St Tegai") is a small, partly forested hill in Gwynedd, North Wales. It forms the start of the Glyderau ridge. It is also the name of the quarry village at the base of the hill situated at the edge of Snowdonia National Park at . The village lies at about above sea level and gets strong winds and above average rainfall. Many of the houses are spread along long roads rather than clustered around a point, giving the village a somewhat decentralised feel. However the village is distinguished by two parallel rows of semi-detached quarrymen's cottages constructed during the 19th century for workers of Penrhyn Quarry, which mined slate. The Caernarfon & District League was a football league covering the Caernarfon and surrounding areas in North Wales. League History The league was a renamed version Bangor & District League that had run between 1930 and 1937 and again after the Second World War, between 1945 and 1950. The change in name reflected the changing geographic locations of clubs playing in the league.
