Mynaa
''Mynaa'' is a 2010 Indian Tamil language, Tamil-language romantic drama film directed and written by Prabu Solomon. Jointly distributed by Udhayanidhi Stalin and Kalpathi S. Aghoram, it stars Vidharth (actor), Vidharth, Amala Paul and Thambi Ramaiah. Featuring an acclaimed soundtrack by D. Imman, the film, which garnered much anticipation prior to release, released on 5 November 2010, coinciding with the Diwali festival, receiving critical acclaim and going on to win the Filmfare Award for Best Film – Tamil, Best Film Award at the 58th Filmfare Awards South. Actor Thambi Ramaiah went on to win the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor in 2011. Amala Paul
Amala Paul (born 26 October 1991) is an Indian actress who mainly appears in Tamil cinema, Tamil, Malayalam cinema, Malayalam and Telugu cinema, Telugu films. She made her acting debut by appearing in a supporting role in the Malayalam-language film ''Neelathamara (2009 film), Neelathamara'', and she later became noted for playing the title role in ''Mynaa''. After making his debut in 1999, he had a middling career before rising to prominence with the success of the romantic tragedy film ''Mynaa'' (2010). Red Giant Movies is an Indian film production and distribution company headed by actor, politician and businessman Udhayanidhi Stalin. History The proposed venture of the studio was meant to be a collaboration between director Thamizhvaanan and actor Vishal, but the film never took off.
