Myles Nazem Amine
Myles Nazem Amine (born December 14, 1996) is a Sammarinese-American freestyle and folkstyle wrestler who competes at 86 kilograms. He represents San Marino due to his maternal great-grandfather being a citizen. In freestyle, Amine won bronze for San Marino at the 2020 Summer Olympics and claimed medals at the European Games and the European Championships. In folkstyle, Amine is a five-time NCAA Division I All-American and two-time Big Ten Conference Champion (four-time finalist) for the Michigan Wolverines. Amine was the top-seeded 197-pound NCAA wrestler heading into the 2021 national championships, but finished third. His paternal grandfather Nazem Amine was also a freestyle wrestler who competed for Lebanon at the 1960 Summer Olympics. European Wrestling Championships
The European Wrestling Championships is the second oldest international wrestling competition of the modern world and the main wrestling championships in Europe. It predates World Wrestling Championships and other regional wrestling championships and is second only to the wrestling events at the Olympics. From its inception in 1898 till 1927 only Greco-Roman wrestling was contested. Since 1929 separate freestyle wrestling events were held as well. Since 1970 the two Olympic wrestling styles were contested together during the same unified events. 2021 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships
The 2021 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships took place from March 18–20, 2021, in St. Louis, Missouri at the Enterprise Center. The tournament was the 90th NCAA Division I Wrestling Championship, following the cancellation of the 2020 edition, and featured 63 teams across that level. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States, the event was forced to occur with modifications. Collegiate wrestling (also known as folkstyle wrestling) is the form of wrestling practiced at the college and university level in the United States. This style of wrestling, with some slight modifications, is also practiced at high school and middle school levels, and also among younger participants. The Mediterranean Games is a multi-sport event organised by the International Committee of Mediterranean Games (CIJM). It is held every four years among athletes from countries bordering the Mediterranean Sea in Africa, Asia and Europe.
