Mykola Lebid
Mykola Yakovych Lebid (', ', 5 May 1936 – 29 March 2007) was a Ukraine, Ukrainian painter, graphic artist, designer, Honored Artist of Ukraine, professor. Known for exquisite watercolor paintings, graphics, design, Medalist, medallic art and award symbols. He was awarded the Mykola Ostrovsky Prize in 1986. Biography Mykola Lebid was born on May 5, 1936, in the village of Kustyne, Sumy Oblast, Sumy region, Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic, Ukrainian SSR (now Ukraine). His father, Yakiv Stepanovych Lebid (1896-1947), was a railroad worker, served in the Red Army during World War II, and died of wounds shortly after the war. His mother was Yevdokiya Kyrylivna Lebid (Radchenko) (1898-19??). There were six children in the family. Two older brothers died during the Holodomor of the 1930s. Olimpik (radio Receiver)
Olimpik (or sometimes named ''Olympic'', in , in uk, Олімпік) — a series of Soviet Union, Soviet produced Superheterodyne receiver, superheterodyne portable radio receiver. The first model was developed in 1977 by the Ukrainian artist Mykola Lebid. The production was timed to coincide with the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow. Radio receivers were made at the Svitlovodsk plant Olymp in Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic, Ukraine. Some models were also manufactured by the production association Alatau in Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic, Kazakhstan. Models Medium frequency band, one or two High frequency bands - depends on model. A concentrated selection filter or piezofilter is used. Audio power amplifier is made on four or five transistors. The 12th World Festival of Youth and Students was held from 27 July to 3 August 1985 in Moscow, capital city of the then Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.
