Mykola Bondar
Mykola (Nikolai) Serhiyovych Bondar ( uk, Микола Сергійович Бондарь;22 May 1990 – 15 February 2020) was a Ukrainian competitive figure skater. He competed in the final segment at two World Junior Figure Skating Championships, World Junior Championships, achieving his best result, 11th, in 2009. He later worked as a skating coach in Kyiv. 2009–10 Figure Skating Season
The 2009–10 figure skating season began on 1 July 2009, and ended on 30 June 2010. During this season, elite skaters competed at the Olympic level at the 2010 Winter Olympics, on the ISU Championship level at the 2010 European, Four Continents, World Junior, and World Championships. They also competed in elite competitions such as the 2009–10 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating. Season notes It was the final season in which the compulsory dance and the original dance were contested in ice dance. Following this season, the International Skating Union instituted the short dance. Ukrainian Figure Skating Championships
The Ukrainian Figure Skating Championships are held annually to determine the national figure skating champions of Ukraine. Medals may be awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. The senior event takes place most often in December and the junior event in January or February.
