Mykhailo Havryliuk
Mykhailo Vitaliyovych Havryliuk ( uk, Миха́йло Віта́лійович Гаврилю́к) born 15 August 1979 is a Ukrainian public figure. He participated in the 2014 Euromaidan protests as a Cossack of the Fourth Maidan Self-Defense Hundred, and was publicly tortured by Berkut officers in January 2014. In October 2014, he was elected to the Verkhovna Rada as a candidate of People's Front, where he served for a single term. Havryliuk was a member of the territorial defense battalion Zoloti Vorota. The Internal Troops of Ukraine ( uk, Внутрішні війська України, - Interior Forces of Ukraine; Russian: Внутренние войска Украины, ''Vnutrenniye Voyska Ukrainy''), abbreviated ВВ 'VV') were a uniformed gendarmerie and Internal Troops in Ukraine which merged with the National Guard of Ukraine on March 13, 2014. They were subordinate to the Chief Directorate of Ministry of Internal Affairs (the country's civilian police authority), and cooperate with the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. Sotnia (Ukrainian and ) was a military unit and administrative division in many Slavic countries. Sotnia, deriving back to 1948, has been used in a variety of contexts in both Ukraine and Russia to this day. It is a helpful word to create short names for groups including the Nebesna Sotnia and Terek Wolf Sotnia, stating that these groups do include 100-150 persons. The military unit analog and most meaningful translation for the English-speaking world would be a company.
