My Three Angels (play)
''My Three Angels'' is a comedy Play (theatre), play by Bella and Samuel Spewack, Samuel and Bella Spewack. The play is based on the French play ''La Cuisine Des Anges'' by Albert Husson, and is their only play that is regularly performed in repertory theater. Production The production opened on Broadway theatre, Broadway at the Morosco Theatre on March 11, 1953, and closed on January 2, 1954 after 344 performances. The play was directed by Jose Ferrer, with Scenic Design by Boris Aronson and costumes by Lucinda Ballard. The play is set in French Guiana around the turn of the 20th century, showing the interaction between three prisoners and a family of French colonists. Bella And Samuel Spewack
Bella (25 March 1899 – 27 April 1990) and Samuel Spewack (16 September 1899 – 14 October 1971) were a husband-and-wife writing team. Samuel, who also directed many of their plays, was born in Ukraine. He attended Stuyvesant High School in New York City and then received his degree from Columbia College. Lives and careers The oldest of three children of a single mother, Bella Cohen was born in Bucharest, Romania and with her family emigrated to the Lower East Side of Manhattan when she was a child. After graduation from Washington Irving High School, she worked as a journalist for socialist and pacifist newspapers such as the ''New York Call''. Her work drew attention from Samuel, working as a reporter for ''The World'', and the couple married in 1922. Eric Fleming (born Edward Heddy Jr.; July 4, 1925 – September 28, 1966) was an American actor known primarily for his role as Gil Favor in the CBS television series '' Rawhide''. Early life Fleming was born as Edward Heddy Jr. in Santa Paula, California, the only child of Edward and Mildred (Anderson) Heddy. is a Japanese actress. Her early stage name was ; she changed it to , and switched to writing her surname in katakana in 2005. Kuno has been active as a model since senior high school, and as an actress made her debut in 1987. , born was a Japanese actor. For his work in ''Cure'', ''Hana-bi'' and other films, Osugi was given the Best Supporting Actor award at the 1999 Yokohama Film Festival. He often worked alongside Takeshi Kitano and Susumu Terajima.
