"My Side of Town" is a song by American singer Lutricia McNeal, released as the second single from her debut studio album of the same name (1997) and the follow-up to her 1996 international hit "Ain't That Just the Way". "My Side of Town" charted within the top 40 of the charts of Iceland, the Netherlands, and Sweden in 1997. In 1999, it reached number one in New Zealand. Lutricia McNeal
Lutricia McNeal (born November 27, 1973) is an American soul and pop singer. She achieved worldwide success with her cover version of "Ain't That Just the Way" which sold two million copies worldwide. Biography McNeal was discovered by Rogers/Grantham. Her career took off during a visit to Europe, when she teamed up with the Swedish producer team Rob'n'Raz. Their 1993 hit " In Command" went to No. 1 in Sweden. A few years later she started her own solo career with the single "Ain't That Just the Way". The single went gold and platinum in several countries. Alberto Salerno (born 30 December 1949) is an Italian lyricist and producer. Life and career Born in Milan, Salerno is the son of the popular lyricist Nisa. Daniel Sentacruz Ensemble was an Italian pop group formed in 1974. Their first single " Soleado", a semi-instrumental track written by lead singer Ciro Dammicco and Dario Baldan Bembo, sold over five million copies in Europe, giving the band international popularity. SoundFactory (sometimes credited as Sound Factory) was a Swedish dance music act comprising DJ Emil Hellman with James Gicho (credited as St. James) on vocals on some recordings.
