My Friend, Kolka!
''My Friend, Kolka!'' (russian: Друг мой, Колька!, Drug moy, Kolka!) is a Soviet 1961 drama film directed by Aleksei Saltykov and Aleksander Mitta. Plot Kolka Snegeryov is bored at school along the other children. The work of the pioneer organization turned into a monotonous routine. The senior Pioneer leader Lydia Mikhajlovna's work seems good. But behind accurately made plans are formalism, indifference and boredom. Declaring boycott, children organize a secret society which has the acronym ТОТР – "To help offended and weak ". New pioneer leader supports children and carries away their greater and interesting business. Aleksey Aleksandrovich Saltykov (russian: Алексей Александрович Салтыков; 13 May 1934 – 8 April 1993) was a Soviet Union, Soviet and Russian people, Russian film director and screenwriter. People's Artist of the RSFSR (1980). Biography Saltykov was born in Moscow to Russians, Russian parents. His father Aleksandr Saltykov worked as an engineer at the Moscow Kremlin. With the start of the Great Patriotic War he was sent to the front line and killed near Sevastopol in 1941. His family stayed in Moscow. Boris Kuzmich Novikov (russian: Бори́с Кузьми́ч Но́виков; 13 July 1925, Ryazhsk, Ryazan Governorate, RSFSR — 25 July 1997, Moscow) was a Soviet actor of theater and cinema. People's Artist of Russia (1994). Biography Boris Kuzmich Novikov was born on 13 July 1925 in a family of laborers at the station Ryazhsk-1, Ryazan Oblast. In school years he participated in amateur performances, and later fought at the front. He graduated from the School-Studio of Yuri Zavadsky in 1948. Since 1948 he worked as an actor of the Mossovet Theater, in 1963-1972 was the actor of the Moscow Satire Theatre. In 1972, due to diabetic illness, he stopped playing in theatre and only worked in film. He played in over 150 films and also voiced animated films.
