My Cherie (Sheena Easton Album)
''My Cherie'' is the 12th album by Scottish singer Sheena Easton, released in 1995 on MCA Records. The album consists of adult pop songs. The title track was issued as a single but failed to chart. Other tracks include "You've Learned To Live Without Me" by Diane Warren, "Please Don't Be Scared" (previously recorded by Barry Manilow), and "Crazy Love" (previously recorded by Amy Keys and subsequently covered by Luther Vandross). The album marked Easton's reunion with producer Christopher Neil, who worked on her first three albums. To date, this marks the last Easton album to be released stateside. The songs "Flower in the Rain" and "Dance Away the Blues" were both used in a TV episode of "The Outer Limits" entitled "Falling Star", featuring Easton as a faded rock star. Sheena Shirley Easton (; born 27 April 1959) is a Scottish singer and actress. Easton came into the public eye in an episode of the first British musical reality television programme '' The Big Time: Pop Singer'', which recorded her attempts to gain a record contract and her eventual signing with EMI Records. Easton's first two singles, "Modern Girl" and " 9 to 5", both entered the UK Top Ten. She became one of the most successful British female performers of the 1980s. The Moog Source is a monophonic Z80 microprocessor-controlled analog synthesizer manufactured by Moog Music from 1981 to 1985. The Source was Moog's first synthesizer to offer patch memory storage. The design was also the first (and only) Moog synthesizer to feature a flat-panel membrane keyboard to replace the standard buttons, knobs and sliders, along with multihued panel graphics that were very different from anything Moog offered at the time. George Merrill (born 10 January 1956) is an American songwriter whose work mostly dates from the mid- to late 1980s. He co-wrote "How Will I Know", which was a hit for Whitney Houston in 1986, as well as Houston's 1987 hit " I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me)".
