My Baby Don't Tolerate
''My Baby Don't Tolerate'' is an album recorded by Lyle Lovett and released in 2003. On ''Tolerate'', Lovett favors his country side a bit more than his many other facets. While long-time fans were reportedly disappointed with the album's pop-flavored opening track "Cute as a Bug", many of the other songs demonstrated his strengths as a storyteller. Oddly, the album ends with two gospel songs with remarkably similar names, which some critics decried as an overly precious attempt at enforced quirkiness. Nonetheless, ''Tolerate'' garnered very positive responses and respectable sales figures. ''It's Not Big It's Large'' is an album by Lyle Lovett and his Large Band, released in 2007 (see 2007 in music). The recording was made live in studio (recorded with all instruments as if a concert venue, but done in a studio). The title is a play on the name Lovett has given to his touring band since 1988. Lovett explains the title in an interview: "We've always done arrangements that border on blues music, that border on jazz arrangements, that border on what folks might think of as 'big band', but we don't really play big band music. But we've always had a lot of people in the band so that's why I call the band the 'Large Band' and not the 'Big Band'. Viktor Krauss is an American musician who plays acoustic and electric bass. He has released solo albums and has worked as a sideman with many musicians, including his sister, singer and fiddler Alison Krauss. Music career Krauss was born to Fred and Louise, and raised in Champaign, Illinois. As a boy, he enjoyed listening to soundtracks. He started on piano and trumpet before moving on to playing double bass with local jazz groups in his early teens. In high school, he began composing music and was influenced by rock, soul, and R&B. Michael David Fuller (December 18, 1949 – February 1, 1989), better known by his stage name Blaze Foley, was an American country music singer-songwriter, poet, and artist active in Austin, Texas. Background Foley was born Michael David Fuller in Malvern, Arkansas on December 18, 1949.
