MyCole Pruitt
MyCole Pruitt (born March 24, 1992) is an American football tight end for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Southern Illinois Salukis football, Southern Illinois, where he was a two-time first-team NCAA Division I Football Championship, FCS All-American. He was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the fifth round, 143rd overall of the 2015 NFL Draft. Early years Pruitt was born to Colette Bonds and Carlos Pruitt on March 24, 1992, in South Bend, Indiana, He went to Kirkwood High School in Kirkwood, Missouri, where he was a three-time All-Conference defensive end and first-team All-Conference tight end in 2009. He attended the same high school as former Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Jeremy Maclin. As a freshman, he hauled in seven passes for 148 yards and three touchdowns. The tight end (TE) is a position in American football, arena football, and Canadian football, on the offense. The tight end is often a hybrid position with the characteristics and roles of both an offensive lineman and a wide receiver. Like offensive linemen, they are usually lined up on the offensive line and are large enough to be effective blockers. Quarterback Sack
In gridiron football, a sack occurs when the quarterback (or another offensive player acting as a passer) is tackled behind the line of scrimmage before throwing a forward pass, when the quarterback is tackled behind the line of scrimmage in the " pocket" and without clear intent, or when a passer runs out of bounds behind the line of scrimmage due to defensive pressure. Jeremy Maclin
Jeremy Maclin (born May 11, 1988) is a former American football wide receiver. He played college football at Missouri, where he was a two-time consensus All-American, and was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the first round of the 2009 NFL Draft. He also played for the Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens, making a Pro Bowl appearance in 2014 with the Eagles. Maclin retired in 2019. Early years Maclin was born in Kirkwood, Missouri. He attended Kirkwood High School in Kirkwood, Missouri from 2002 to 2006, where he was a letterman in football and basketball. This position has designated the players at each end of the defensive line, but changes in formation (American football), formations over the years have substantially changed how the position is played. Kirkwood, Missouri
Kirkwood is an inner-ring western suburb of St. Louis located in St. Louis County, Missouri. As of the 2010 census, the city's population was 27,540. Founded in 1853, the city is named after James P. Kirkwood, builder of the Pacific Railroad through that city. It was the first planned suburb located west of the Mississippi River. 2015 NFL Draft
The 2015 NFL Draft was the 80th annual meeting of National Football League (NFL) franchises to select newly eligible football players. It took place in Chicago at the Auditorium Theatre and in Grant Park, from April 30 to May 2. The previous fifty NFL drafts (since 1965) had been held in New York City.
