Mwingi North Constituency is an electoral constituency in Kenya. It is one of eight constituencies in Kitui County. It used to be one of two constituencies in Mwingi District. The constituency was established for the 1997 elections. The immediate former MP of Mwingi North MP was Kalonzo Musyoka Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka (born 24 December 195is a Kenyan politician who was the tenth Vice-President of Kenya from 2008 to 2013. Constituencies Of Kenya
Constituencies of Kenya are used to elect members of the National Assembly, the lower chamber of the Kenyan Parliament. In accordance with article 89 of the 2010 Constitution of Kenya, there are 290 constituencies, based on a formula where these constituencies were to be delineated based on population numbers.
