Mongrel
A mongrel, mutt or mixed-breed dog is a dog that does not belong to one officially recognized breed and including those that are the result of intentional breeding. Although the term ''mixed-breed dog'' is sometimes preferred, many mongrels have no known purebred ancestors. Crossbreed dogs, and " designer dogs", while also a mix of breeds, differ from mongrels in being intentionally bred. At other times, the word ''mongrel'' has been applied to informally purpose-bred dogs such as curs, which were created at least in part from mongrels, especially if the breed is not officially recognized. Although mongrels are viewed as of less commercial value than intentionally bred dogs, they are thought to be less susceptible to genetic health problems associated with inbreeding (based on the theory of heterosis), and have enthusiasts and defenders who prefer them to intentionally bred dogs. Estimates place the prevalence of mongrels at 150 million animals worldwide. Terminology Cr ...

''Peanuts'' creator Charles Schulz praised ''MUTTS'', calling it "one of the best comic strips of all time." Characters and Story The friendship of Mooch and Earl focuses on the differences between cats and dogs as human companions and as friends with each other: Earl is friendly, loves the company of his human companion, and likes to play outside; Mooch is often indifferent to his human companions, except when being fed, and prefers to stay inside or is often seen with Earl, his best friend. Mutt (email Client)
Mutt is a text-based email client for Unix-like systems. It was originally written by Michael Elkins in 1995 and released under the GNU General Public License version 2 or any later version. The Mutt slogan is "''All mail clients suck. This one just sucks less.''" Operation Mutt supports most mail storing formats (notably both mbox and Maildir) and protocols ( POP3, IMAP, etc.). It also includes MIME support, notably full PGP/ GPG and S/MIME integration. Mutt was originally designed as a Mail User Agent (MUA) and relied on locally accessible mailbox and sendmail infrastructure. According to the Mutt homepage "though written from scratch, Mutt's initial interface was based largely on the ELM mail client". New to Mutt were message scoring and threading capabilities. Support for fetching and sending email via various protocols such as POP3, IMAP and SMTP was added later. However, Mutt still relies on external tools for composing and filtering messages. Mutt (song)
"Mutt" is a song by American rock band Blink-182 from the band's third studio album, ''Enema of the State'' (1999). It was written primarily by guitarist Tom DeLonge, with additional songwriting credit to bassist Mark Hoppus, and drummer Scott Raynor. The song's narrative portrays a lustful couple. DeLonge penned the track for his friend, the professional surfer Benji Weatherly. The band first recorded the song for Weatherly's appearance in the 1998 surf film ''The Show'', prior to Raynor's exit from the group. The song was later re-recorded with drummer Travis Barker and included on the band's 1999 album, ''Enema of the State''. This edition had a prominent placement on the soundtrack for the 1999 film '' American Pie''; the song plays during a memorable scene in which the main character attempts to woo a foreign exchange student. A 2016 ''Rolling Stone'' reader's poll ranked "Mutt" among the trio's fans' favorite tunes. Background "Mutt" was written primarily by DeLonge about ...
