Mutsu-Morita Station
is a railway station located in the city of Tsugaru, Aomori Prefecture, Japan, operated by the East Japan Railway Company (JR East). The station is a ''kan'i itaku'' station, administered by Goshogawara Station, and operated by Tsugaru municipal authority, with point-of-sales terminal installed. Ordinary tickets, express tickets, and reserved-seat tickets for all JR lines are on sale (no connecting tickets). Lines Mutsu-Morita Station is served by the Gonō Line. It is 114.5 rail kilometers from the terminus of the line at . A side platform (also known as a marginal platform or a single-face platform) is a platform positioned to the side of one or more railway tracks or guideways at a railway station, tram stop, or transitway. A station having dual side platforms, one for each direction of travel, is the basic design used for double-track railway lines (as opposed to, for instance, the island platform where a single platform lies between the tracks). Side platforms may result in a wider overall footprint for the station compared with an island platform where a single width of platform can be shared by riders using either track. The abbreviated JNR or , was the business entity that operated Japan's national railway network from 1949 to 1987. Morita, Aomori
was a village located in Nishitsugaru District in western Aomori Prefecture, Japan. Morita Village was located in the central portion of Tsugaru Peninsula. The area was part of Hirosaki Domain during the Edo period. After the Meiji Restoration, Morita Village was created on 1 April 1889. On 11 February 2005, Morita, along with the town of Kizukuri, and the villages of Inagaki, Kashiwa and Shariki (all from Nishitsugaru District), was merged to create the city of Tsugaru, and thus no longer exists as an independent municipality. At the time of its merger, Morita had an estimated population of 5,011 and a population density of 207.75 persons per km2. The total area was 24.12 km2. The village economy was dominated by agriculture. is a joint-use railway station on the Gonō Line and Tsugaru Railway Line in the city of Goshogawara, Aomori, Japan, jointly operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East) and the private railway operator Tsugaru Railway Company. Kan'i Itaku Station
A , sometimes abbreviated as , is a form of railway station in Japan which is operated by an entity other than the railway company using the station. These stations are commonly operated by the local municipality, an agricultural cooperative, a store in front of the station, or a private individual. Other than the entity operating the station, there is no difference to the passenger using the station. The station attendant generally sells passenger tickets through a ticket window and posts the train schedules, while the train conductor or driver handles collection and validation of tickets in most cases. Because the station attendant does not directly deal with the passengers outside of ticket sales, the types of tickets they can sell is generally limited to fare tickets and books of tickets.
