Mustafa Doğan
Mustafa Doğan (born 1 January 1976) is a German former professional footballer of who played as a central defender. During his professional career, he played for teams in both Turkey, the country of his birth, and Germany, representing the Germany national team in 1999. Club career A native of the village of Dedeçam, in Yalvaç district, Isparta, Doğan started his career playing for TV Asberg, a small German club. At 13, he signed his first professional contract, with KFC Uerdingen 05, having made his first-team debut on 15 May 1994, in a second division match at Wuppertaler SV. In 1996, Doğan transferred to Istanbul's Fenerbahçe SK. He stayed there for seven years, the first five as a starter, then switched back to Germany, signing with Bundesliga outfit 1. FC Köln. Isparta
Isparta is a city in western Turkey and the capital of Isparta Province. The city's population was 222,556 in 2010 and its elevation is 1035 m. It is known as the "City of Roses". Isparta is well-connected to other parts of Turkey via roads. Antalya lies 130 km to the south and Eskişehir is 350 km to the north. Süleyman Demirel University has introduced thousands of youths from varied backgrounds to the city's mostly conservative fabric in recent years. 1999 FIFA Confederations Cup
The 1999 FIFA Confederations Cup was the fourth FIFA Confederations Cup, and the second organised by FIFA. The tournament was hosted by Mexico between 24 July and 4 August 1999. It was won by Mexico, who beat Brazil 4–3 in the final. Mexico became the first host nation to win the FIFA Confederations Cup. The competition was to originally be held in three stadiums, in three cities in the country. However, since the stadiums in Monterrey were sponsored by a competing beer company other than the official advertiser, the city was left out of the tournament altogether. The tournament was originally scheduled for 8–20 January 1999, but was rescheduled by FIFA on 17 November 1998 to accommodate the scheduling of the participating European teams. NTV Spor is a Turkish online sports platform. NTV Spor used to be a nationwide TV channel between 2008 and 2018. As of April 2021, NTV Spor continues to produce content via their website and YouTube channel.
