Musta Had A Good Time
"Musta Had a Good Time" is a song recorded by American country music group Parmalee. It was released in July 2012 as their debut single and the first from their album ''Feels Like Carolina''. The song was written by group members Matt Thomas, Scott Thomas, Josh McSwain, and Barry Knox, along with David Fanning. Critical reception Billy Dukes of ''Taste of Country'' gave the song a two-star review, saying that "It’s not that country and rock haven’t been fused before — Jason Aldean has made a career of it. There’s an art to creating that mix, however. An inexperienced hand leaves the parts lying across the table, instead of blending seamlessly into a satisfying wall of sound." The album produced four singles: " Musta Had a Good Time", " Carolina", " Close Your Eyes", and "Already Callin' You Mine". Critical reception ''Feels Like Carolina'' garnered generally positive reception by music critics. Joseph Hudak of ''Country Weekly'' gave the album a B− grade, praising the lyrics by saying that "While the album draws liberally from the country pool of shopworn images…the guys…have a knack for making them their own." He thought that the songs written by the band members were the strongest tracks but criticized the "prevailingly generic sound". At ''USA Today'', Brian Mansfield rated the album two-and-a-half out of four stars, feeling that "these guys are a throwback to bands that fleshed out melodies and tight harmonies and classic rock guitar riffs." Glenn Gamboa of '' Newsday'' gave the al ...

"Carolina" is a song recorded by American country music group Parmalee. It was first released on their 2008 EP titled ''Complicated'' before being remixed and re-released on February 4, 2013, as their second single for Stoney Creek Records. Thomas then picked up an acoustic guitar and showed him the beginning of a chorus that was part of a song idea they had come up with recently. Beato lik ...
